We all belong to a society that currently uses multiple of its applications for entertainment. Don’t get me wrong, this is a good thing, a great thing in fact. The emergence of such applications made life a little brighter, a little lighter. It also showed that work can be made unique, less tedious, and of course, Fun! Because with these same applications, some businesses thrive. Not to mention, App developers around the globe have graced us and continue doing so, with applications that we can use at our areas of employment. These applications are however set apart from those that entertain us, as they are called Productivity Apps, which, ladies and gentlemen, brings us to our topic today.
A productivity app, is essentially an app that you would use at your offices, working from home, the whole ensemble of a 9-5 job. Typically for the purpose of enabling us to complete daily tasks etc. And I’m speaking from all angles, whether you need to design a poster, brochure, or a presentation without limiting yourself to the few templates offered by Microsoft power point (I’m sorry Microsoft we still love you); ever heard of an app called Canva?
Now of course we still have the OG’s; Microsoft office and its battalion of productivity applications, or Chrome(the latest update is amazing), which gives you Google, which is the most popular search engine, with over 70% of the search market share and captures almost 85% of mobile traffic. … Pretty high right? But let me put you on to my favorite productivity apps.
1. Sticky Notes – one of the most underrated Microsoft apps and one of my personal favorites. Thanks to it, I never forget any piece of work; very easy to spot a posted note because of the colors as well
2.Adobe Reader – PDF documents have always been so galling and limiting in many ways. I’d like to be able to read PDF comfortable and most conveniently; and be able to edit them where need be. Adobe Reader has your back there.
Which one’s do you think I haven’t heard of and/or used? Let me know in the comments
